Hydrogen Technology

Our hydrogen generators use Proton® PEM technology to produce high volume, high purity hydrogen consistently on-site. The technologically advanced generators are capable of sensing the demand and adjusting the required output accordingly to maintain the right balance. They are designed for steady and noiseless operation. These generators utilize Proton Exchange Membrane water electrolysis to produce hydrogen. In this procedure, deionized water is broken down into H2 and O2.

Redefining Reliability

As the global leader in hydrogen generation, Nel Hydrogen is the world’s largest producer of on-site hydrogen generators. As leaders in the international market, we have developed and applied PEM electrolysis technology for more than 20 years. Our product range includes nitrogen, hydrogen, and zero air generators that offer diverse solutions for streamlining a variety of operations for different industries worldwide. To meet the various requirements of customers from different industries, we offer on-site gas generators that are reliable, safe and cost-effective. We deliver reliable solutions that are capable of generating the type of gas required in the right quantity, in the right place.
